AI/ML Paris Peace Forum launches initiative to combat AI threats to internet infrastructure July 9, 2026 Share By SC Staff (Adobe Stock) CyberScoop reports that the Paris Peace Forum is launching a new project to bring together international experts to assess AI-related threats to global internet infrastructure. The initiative, named the Integrated Network for Trusted AI in Cyberspace (INTAiC), aims to address the fragmentation of information regarding AI-driven cyber threats. INTAiC will gather researchers and civil society experts from government and the private sector to analyze current AI cyber threats and produce forward-looking reports. A key goal is to establish a quick-response coalition of government and business to address AI-related risks, mirroring existing cybersecurity coordination mechanisms. The project will maintain a regularly updated resource for defenders on how AI is reshaping cyber threats, focusing on attacker capabilities and misuse rather than isolated incidents. A second workstream will evaluate and prevent cyber risks associated with AI, building a base of independent third-party experts for neutral assessments of frontier model cyber capabilities. This effort will involve governments, research institutions, and non-profits to develop new organizational and funding pathways for research. Prominent organizations such as Microsoft, the Cyber Threat Alliance, and the Cloud Security Alliance are already listed as partners. The Paris Peace Forum plans to provide further updates on INTAiC's work during its annual conference in November.
